Description

Summary ABOUT US: Diald is a fast growing Agency providing full stack data systems and communities to high scale ecommerce brands. DIALD is unique in the value proposition that it offers to clients, and we are the first agency to combine calling, surveys and communities as a data source to ecommerce companies. Our mission at DIALD is to provide ecommerce companies with the most reliable and useful data possible. As well as turning their customers into content creators and brand ambassadors. Helping ecommerce brands grow through their affiliate programs and in house ugc content is at the core of our promise. We plan on becoming the largest and most sought after ecommerce agencies. We build customer communities and insight systems for ecommerce brands. We call a brand's customers, pull them into a community, and turn everything those customers tell us — calls, surveys, and community chat — into a weekly insight sheet the brand uses to sell more. We're hiring a creative automation engineer to build and own the systems that make this run, so it works the same whether we have 5 brands or 50. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: This is a long-term, ongoing role — we're hiring someone to build these systems once, properly, and keep them running. We are looking only for the highest level of creative engineers. Who have years of experience and critical thinking abilities. What you'll build You own four systems end to end: 1. Community systems (Discord + Facebook).*Repeatable setups that spin up a brand community, grow it from the customers we call, and keep a constant flow of insights, testimonials, and customer content moving through it — with automated engagement, moderation support, and mining built in. 2. **A question-list generator.** After a brand fills in its onboarding form, your system produces the question set for that brand — **one list that powers both the surveys and the calls.** 3. **Automated survey systems.** Surveys that build themselves per brand from that question list, collect and structure the responses, **and funnel customers into the community** through the survey, on shopify. 4. The weekly insight pipeline. Every week, for every brand, your system consolidates calls + surveys + community into one insight sheet, sent to the brand automatically — to a written quality standard we'll give you. This includes: - the transcript front end** — calls get recorded, transcribed, and landed in the brand's sheet automatically, so the pipeline always has fuel; and - **a results loop** — track what happened to what we recommended (did the brand test the angle, did it win) so every weekly sheet proves its own ROI back to them. **You'll also own, across all four systems:** - **Client access & credentials** — collect each brand's Shopify / Facebook / survey / Discord access as they onboard, store it securely, - **Candidate handoff tracking** — flag community members who'd make good affiliates (Social Snowball) or content creators (Trybe), route them to the brand, and track that they actually got onboarded. (DIALD's job ends at the handoff — but the handoff has to happen and be logged.) - **Reporting data** — expose the numbers ops needs to bill and report, including checkout-recovery attribution from the separate checkout system. - **Documentation & runbooks** — every system is documented so it's maintainable and the business is never hostage to one person. This is a **deliverable, not an afterthought.** - **Daily coordination with our community moderator** — who runs the human side of the communities you build — plus the tooling and escalation flags they rely on. **What we're looking for (must-haves)** - **Proven experience building systems on both Facebook and Discord** — bots, groups, onboarding flows, engagement and moderation tooling, integrations. Tell us exactly what you've built on each. - **Strong Shopify knowledge** — APIs, webhooks, apps, customer data. You've built on Shopify, not just used it. - **Solid ecommerce / DTC understanding** — you get how brands think about customers, acquisition cost, retention, and content. You're not learning ecom on this job. - **Excellent communication** — you'll build to a documented standard and coordinate with a moderator every day. Clear writing and reliable updates are non-negotiable. - Comfortable wiring up **AI/LLM workflows**, survey tools, and orchestration (n8n / Make / custom code) into one reliable pipeline. **Nice to have** - Prior voice-of-customer, insights, or CRO work - Google Sheets / Drive automation - Experience with affiliate or UGC platforms (Social Snowball, Trybe or similar) - Experience templating systems so each new client is a config-deploy, not a rebuild **Hours & schedule** This is a full time position that may require overtime and full dedication **Rate** $6-10k per month ++ BONUSES Can go up to $20K per month **How to apply** (please actually answer these — generic applications get skipped) 1. **Walk us through the most complex workflow or automation you've built end to end.** What did it do, what stack ran it, how many moving parts, and was it live in production? Links, demos, or repos beat descriptions. 2. **What AI agents or LLM workflows have you built?** Be specific: what the agent did, how you kept it reliable (hallucinations, bad outputs, retries), and what you built it with (n8n, Make, custom code, LangChain, etc.). 3. **What's your experience working with DTC / ecommerce brands?** Which brands or types, what you built for them, and what you learned about how they actually operate day to day. 4. **What have you built on Shopify, Discord, and Facebook?** Name the specific APIs, bots, or integrations — and tell us about one thing that broke and how you fixed it. 5. **Tell us about a system other people relied on daily.** How did you keep it reliable and documented so it didn't depend on you being online? 6. **Your background** — how long have you been building automations / AI systems, what are you best at, and what's the piece of work you're proudest of? Link it.
