We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a new website for a large summer camp organization in the Boston area. The site will feature approximately seven camp programs, each serving different ages, interests, schedules and locations. The design, content strategy and page layouts will be provided. We need a developer who can translate those designs into a polished, responsive WordPress site and build the more advanced functionality properly. This is not a basic Elementor brochure site. The project requires strong experience with WordPress architecture, custom post types, structured data, advanced filtering and conditional quiz functionality. Project Scope The new website will include: Approximately 12–15 main website pages Seven individual camp program sections A searchable and filterable camp directory Filtering by criteria such as age or grade, interests, camp dates, session length, location and program type Sorting and date-range filtering A “Find Your Camp” questionnaire that guides parents toward the most appropriate camp options Reusable templates for camp pages and camp listing cards Responsive development for desktop, tablet and mobile WordPress backend setup that is clear and easy for the client to update Basic performance, accessibility and SEO best practices Development on a staging site, followed by launch support We expect the camp information to be organized using custom post types, taxonomies and structured custom fields rather than manuall
