Description
Summary Summary We're a remote eCommerce marketing agency looking to bring on an AI automation expert on a consulting/freelance basis to help us build and scale AI-driven workflows across the business. This isn't a full-time role, the goal is to work with our leadership team to identify, design, and build automations that save time and increase output across reporting, creative production, media buying, sales, and operations. We're already using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Zapier, and want someone who can help us go further - building smarter systems, recommending better tools, and implementing automations we haven't thought of yet. If we find the right fit, we'd like to keep this person on an ongoing freelance basis so that whenever a new automation idea comes up, we can bring it to them to scope and build. Deliverables Project scope: - Design and build automated workflows connecting tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, - Trello, Slack, Harvest, WhatsApp, and Meta Ads. - Automate recurring internal processes (e.g. weekly client reporting, Harvest time-tracking workflows, AI-generated creative pipelines). - Recommend and implement AI tools/platforms beyond what we currently use, where they'd improve speed or quality. - Build systems that reduce manual work across departments: media buying, reporting, creative production, sales, and account management. - Document workflows clearly so our internal team can maintain and adjust them over time. - Be available on a consulting basis for scoping calls as new automation ideas come up. Requirements - Proven experience building AI-powered automations and workflows for agencies or businesses (not just personal/consumer use cases). - Strong hands-on experience with Zapier (or Make/n8n), Claude/ChatGPT, and API-level integrations. -Familiarity with agency tools: Trello, Slack, Harvest, WhatsApp Business, Meta Ads. - Comfortable working across multiple departments' needs - not just one narrow use case. - Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical leadership team. - Consulting mindset: able to advise on "what's possible" and bring ideas, not just execute a fixed spec.
