Description

Summary We're looking for an experienced n8n Automation Developer to help improve and maintain our existing automation workflows. This is not a build-from-scratch project. We already have workflows in place and need someone to review, troubleshoot, optimize, and extend them with new integrations and automation logic. The initial engagement is a 2–5 hour paid task. If the collaboration goes well, we'll continue working together on future automation, AI, and API integration projects. Responsibilities Review and optimize existing n8n workflows Debug and resolve workflow issues Build and extend automation workflows Integrate REST APIs using HTTP Request nodes Configure Webhooks and API authentication (OAuth2/API Keys) Integrate OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs where appropriate Connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Sheets, Airtable, WhatsApp Business, and CRM platforms Process JSON, CSV, and Excel data Improve workflow reliability with logging, retries, and error handling Prevent duplicate executions and optimize workflow performance Test completed workflows and provide clear documentation Required Skills n8n Workflow Automation API Integration REST APIs HTTP Request Webhooks JavaScript JSON OpenAI API / ChatGPT API Claude or Gemini API Google Sheets Gmail Outlook / Microsoft Graph API Airtable HubSpot GoHighLevel Salesforce Zoho CRM Pipedrive Workflow Debugging & Optimization Error Handling OAuth2 / API Authentication Nice to Have WhatsApp Business API Make.com Zapier Docker Python Node.js AI Agents What We're Looking For Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Experience working with production n8n workflows Clean, maintainable workflow design Excellent communication Fast turnaround and attention to detail Ability to recommend improvements instead of simply following instructions Deliverables Fully working and tested n8n workflow updates Bug fixes and workflow optimizations Required API and third-party integrations Error handling and retry logic Workflow documentation or a short handover walkthrough
