Webrecruit is seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Technical Consultant to undertake a comprehensive technical assessment of our existing WordPress estate as the first phase of a wider stabilisation and modernisation programme. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complex, business-critical WordPress platform that has evolved over many years and requires structured technical assessment before remediation and future hosting modernisation. The initial engagement is expected to last approximately 2–3 weeks and will focus on discovery, technical assessment, governance and planning. Subject to a successful outcome, there is significant potential for the successful consultant to lead the subsequent implementation phases over the coming months. At the completion of the initial engagement, the consultant should provide: 1. Comprehensive Technical Assessment Report 2. Platform Architecture & Dependency 3. Governance & Operational Assessment 4. Risk Register 5.
