Description

We're launching an online store selling digital prepaid service plans — virtual products, delivered electronically after purchase, with no physical shipping. We do not have a website yet, so this is a build from zero. Our supplier provides a WordPress plugin that imports the product catalog via their API and handles order fulfilment and delivery emails. Payment will run through a standard WooCommerce payment gateway. Your job is to stand the site up, configure it properly, and — most importantly — make the product browsing and purchase experience genuinely good, because the supplier's out-of-the-box presentation is basic. Scope of work: Install and configure WordPress + WooCommerce on our hosting Install and configure the supplier's catalog-import plugin (we'll provide it and its documentation) Select and set up a suitable theme, using a child theme for all customization Customize the product page UX — products come in multiple options (e.g. size and duration); we need customers to select one option and then choose a quantity, plus the ability to group/filter options by type Improve product search — WooCommerce's default search is not good enough for our catalog Integrate a payment gateway, customer accounts, and transactional emails Basic responsive/mobile polish and essential SEO hygiene Handover: documentation and a short walkthrough Important technical context: The supplier plugin re-syncs the catalog periodically and overwrites product data.
