Summary We're a boutique marketing agency looking for an experienced AI automation engineer to help us build smarter systems into our existing tech stack. We're already using Zapier, Claude, Slack, and ClickUp. We are not looking to rebuild from scratch, but rather looking for someone who understands how our agency operates and can build automations and AI agents that plug directly into what we already have and save our team hours of work every week. This is not a role for someone who will send us a generic response or paste their entire portfolio. I'm looking for serious applicants who can actually personalize their submission. Here's what we need built... AI agents that support our Upwork workflow including job tracking, proposal follow-up, and task reminders. Daily task automations that reduce manual work inside ClickUp and Slack. Ads tracking and reporting automations that surface key metrics without anyone having to pull them manually. Zapier workflows that connect our existing tools more intelligently. Any additional automations you identify that would meaningfully reduce errors or save time. What we're looking for.. Someone who will think critically about how they can take the assignment and make it better than I could imagine. I want you to be able to take initiative, problem solve, and show me progress as you build out each part. Proven hands-on experience building AI agents and workflow automations. Strong working knowledge of Zapier including multi-step zaps and complex integrations. Experience with Claude API or other LLM integrations. Slack bot or Slack workflow builder experience. ClickUp automation experience. Someone who documents what they build so our team can maintain it after you're done. Someone who asks smart questions before building rather than just making assumptions. To apply you must include the following.
