Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to upgrade an existing corporate website from WordPress 3.4 to the latest stable WordPress 6.x release. The website is currently offline, so there is no requirement to maintain production uptime during the upgrade. The site consists of approximately 10 pages and includes a standard contact form. There is no e-commerce, membership, booking system, or complex functionality. Scope of Work The successful freelancer will be responsible for: - Perform a full cPanel backup (website files and MySQL database) before making any changes. - Upgrade WordPress core from version 3.4 to the latest stable release. - Update the active theme and all required plugins. - Troubleshoot and resolve compatibility issues caused by the upgrade. - Fix any PHP errors, deprecated functions, or layout issues resulting from the migration. - Verify that all pages display correctly. - Test website functionality on desktop and mobile browsers. - Verify that the contact form and website navigation function correctly. - Deploy the upgraded website once testing has been completed.
