Description
Summary We're looking for an experienced automation developer to help us troubleshoot an existing AI voice workflow used by our air-conditioning installation business. Our current workflow automatically contacts new leads after they submit an installation request through our website. It uses Vapi for outbound calls, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, OpenAI for transcript analysis, and n8n to orchestrate the entire workflow. Customer information is stored in Google Sheets, and qualified leads are sent to our sales team through Slack. The workflow is already built and functioning, but we've encountered two critical issues that need to be resolved before moving it into production. The first issue is that the workflow occasionally triggers multiple times for the same lead, causing Vapi to place duplicate outbound calls. We need to identify the root cause and ensure each customer receives only one call. The second issue occurs after a successful conversation. In some cases, the transcript or AI-generated summary isn't returned to n8n, preventing the workflow from updating Google Sheets and sending Slack notifications. We'd like this integration reviewed and fixed so the workflow completes reliably from end to end. We're looking for someone who is comfortable debugging existing automation workflows, reviewing webhook and API integrations, and troubleshooting issues involving Vapi, OpenAI, and n8n. Once the fixes are complete, you'll perform end-to-end testing to verify that the workflow consistently processes new leads, updates our records correctly, and notifies our sales team without failures.
