Summary We run velur.de, a fast-growing luxury lab-grown diamond & jewelry store (Germany/EU). It's a heavily customized WordPress + WooCommerce build with ~20 bespoke plugins, and we're looking for a Head of Development to own it end-to-end. Stack: WordPress + WooCommerce · custom Elementor-based theme · ~20 custom PHP/JS plugins (diamond-API integrations, configurators, members area, invoicing, feeds) · CheckoutWC + Mollie · Cloudflare Pro (+ Zaraz) · WP Rocket · SiteGround · Git + GitHub Actions auto-deploy · tracking via Zaraz/GA4/Meta/Klaviyo/Triple Whale. What you'll do — proactively, not just on request: Build & ship new features, custom plugins, and design changes Keep custom plugins, dependencies & the stack updated and secure Own performance, conversion tracking/attribution, and code quality Drive the technical roadmap for the site Proactive FIND issues and improvements with claude code (prefered) to improve the CR on the page and page speed.
