Summary We’re looking for an experienced Claude AI Chatbot Developer to build a smart, reliable, and scalable AI-powered customer support assistant using Anthropic’s Claude models. The chatbot will serve as the first point of contact for customers, answering questions, providing product information, assisting with troubleshooting, and escalating conversations when necessary. Our goal is to create a natural, helpful, and context-aware chatbot that improves customer satisfaction while reducing support workload. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing conversational AI systems and can deliver a production-ready solution. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and deploy a customer support chatbot powered by Claude AI. * Integrate the chatbot with the Claude API. * Build conversation flows that handle customer inquiries naturally and accurately. * Implement memory and context management for multi-turn conversations. * Connect the chatbot to our knowledge base, FAQs, documentation, and internal resources. * Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for accurate responses from company documents. * Integrate with customer support platforms, CRMs, or ticketing systems. * Configure escalation workflows for complex issues requiring human agents. * Optimize prompts for accuracy, consistency, and brand voice. * Improve response quality through testing and prompt iteration. * Ensure security, privacy, and reliable error handling. * Document the implementation and provide deployment guidance. Required Skills * Proven experience building AI chatbots using Anthropic Claude. * Strong understanding of prompt engineering. * Experience integrating Claude APIs into web or backend applications. * Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. * Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks. * Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or similar. * Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). * Knowledge of conversation design and chatbot UX. * Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
