Description

Summary I have an existing Plivo IVR phone payment system running on a Namecheap server. The system is already built and mostly works. Customers call a phone number from any basic phone. The IVR: Lets the caller choose a course Asks for their credit card information Processes the payment through Stripe Sends me an email after payment Sends the customer a confirmation text message The problem is that payments are currently failing. Calls are reaching the system, but the Stripe payment is not completing successfully. The dashboard is showing multiple "unsuccessful" payment attempts. This is NOT a new development project. I need someone to diagnose and fix the existing integration. Responsibilities Debug existing Plivo IVR application Review the Stripe integration Determine why payment authorization/payment capture is failing Fix the issue Verify successful Stripe payments Verify email notifications Verify customer SMS confirmations Test the full payment flow from beginning to end Document what was fixed Environment Plivo Voice IVR Stripe Hosted on Namecheap Existing production system Existing codebase Required Skills Plivo Voice API / IVR Stripe Payments API Payment processing Server-side debugging API integrations PHP, Python, or Node.js (depending on the existing codebase) Linux server administration SSL/Webhooks REST APIs Experience debugging Plivo IVR applications and Stripe integrations is strongly preferred. Plivo applications typically use webhooks/XML or APIs to control call flows, so experience tracing webhook requests and payment API calls is important. Deliverables The project is complete when: Customers can successfully pay by phone. Stripe charges are successfully processed. Confirmation email is received. Confirmation SMS is sent. The payment appears correctly in Stripe. Any bugs found are documented.
