We are intentionally using a real development project instead of requesting generic portfolios so we can evaluate how you analyze requirements, communicate your approach, and estimate development work. Generic proposals that do not address the sample project will not be considered. This is an hourly position through Upwork. • Maximum hourly rate: $12 USD/hour. ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for a dependable WordPress developer to work with our lead developer, Anthony, on an ongoing freelance basis. Our work primarily involves custom WordPress development, extending existing plugins, and adding new functionality to established applications. We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship. REQUIRED SKILLS You should be comfortable with: • WordPress development • PHP • JavaScript • HTML/CSS • MySQL • Customizing and extending third-party WordPress plugins • Debugging and working within existing codebases Experience with Directorist is a plus but is not required.
