Description
Summary I operate a portfolio of businesses spanning restaurant, retail, property management, and professional consulting. I'm looking for an AI-native operator — part chief of staff, part automation architect — to go deep into the operations of each business and rebuild our marketing, social media, and back-office workflows around modern AI tooling. This is not a VA role and not a "post 3x a week" social gig. I want someone who thinks in systems: audit what exists across the portfolio, find the shared leverage points, automate what should be automated, and instrument everything so decisions are driven by data instead of gut feel. Why this role is interesting: You'll touch genuinely different business models — high-velocity B2C (restaurant and retail), recurring-relationship B2C/B2B hybrid (property management), and long-cycle B2B (consulting). The best candidate sees the patterns across them and builds systems once that serve all four, rather than four disconnected setups. What you'll own: Portfolio-wide process audit — Map current operations across the businesses (marketing, customer communication, lead handling, reviews, reporting) and identify what to standardize, automate, or kill Marketing & social automation — Build automated content pipelines per business: local social presence and promotions for the restaurant and retail brands, listing and tenant-facing marketing for property management, and thought-leadership content for the consulting practice — with human-in- the-loop review where brand voice matters Local presence & reputation systems — Google Business Profiles, review request/response automation, and local SEO hygiene for the consumer-facing locations Data-first measurement — A unified dashboard layer across the portfolio: content and campaign performance, foot-traffic or booking proxies, occupancy/leasing funnel metrics, consulting pipeline health — so we can compare where marketing dollars and hours actually convert Operational leverage — Beyond marketing: customer/tenant communication flows, intake and follow-up sequences, reporting cadences, and internal SOPs, rebuilt with AI in the loop The stack (flexible, but you should have opinions): LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, or API-level) as workflow engines; Zapier / Make / n8n for orchestration; social scheduling tools; review and reputation platforms; CRM and property-management software integrations; analytics via GA4, platform-native data, or a lightweight BI layer. If you've built agentic workflows, tell me about it. You're a great fit if you: - Have built AI-driven operations or marketing systems for multi-location or multi-brand businesses — and can show the before/afterAre equally comfortable with a restaurant's Instagram and a consulting firm's LinkedIn, because you understand they're different funnels, not different jobs - Default to "measure it" rather than "I think it's working" - Handle ambiguity well: you'll get outcomes and context, not task lists - Communicate in structured, async-friendly updates across multiple workstreams To apply: - Describe one automation or AI-driven system you've built end-to-end — the problem, the tools, and the measurable result. Bonus points if it served a local/consumer business (restaurant, retail, real estate). Generic applications and agency pitches will be declined. - Engagement: Starting hourly (~5 hours/week given the portfolio scope) with intent to grow into a long-term operational partnership — potentially a fractional COO-style role for the right person.
