Needs to hire 2 Freelancers Summary # AI-Powered Internal Knowledge & Employee Onboarding Platform ## Overview We're looking for an experienced AI application developer (or small team) to build a modern, enterprise-grade Internal Knowledge & Employee Onboarding Assistant. The platform will serve as a company's centralized knowledge hub, enabling employees to quickly find accurate information, complete role-specific onboarding, and access company resources through an AI-powered conversational interface. The application should have a polished, production-ready user experience comparable to leading enterprise SaaS products. ## What You'll Build ### AI Knowledge Assistant Develop an AI assistant that can be trained on company documentation, including: * Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Employee handbooks * HR policies * Process documentation * Product documentation * Customer support knowledge * Technical documentation * Internal FAQs * Meeting notes * Company wiki content Employees should be able to ask questions in natural language and receive accurate, context-aware answers with citations pointing to the relevant source documents. ### Role-Based Employee Onboarding Create personalized onboarding experiences for different roles across the organization. Examples include: * Human Resources * Operations * Customer Support * Engineering * Design * Sales * Marketing Each onboarding journey should include: * Structured onboarding checklists * Recommended documents and learning resources * Role-specific guidance * AI-powered onboarding assistance * Progress tracking * Completion of assigned training modules ### Smart Knowledge Search Build a powerful search experience that allows employees to: * Search across company knowledge * Filter by department or category * Preview documents * Open original source files * View the document passages used to generate AI responses ### Knowledge Management Develop an administrator portal where teams can: * Upload and organize documentation * Categorize knowledge by department * Replace outdated content * Manage permissions and access * Monitor document usage ### Employee Dashboard Provide employees with a personalized dashboard displaying: * Assigned onboarding tasks * Completed learning modules * Progress tracking * Recommended next steps * Recently viewed resources * Saved answers and bookmarks ### Conversation History Maintain searchable conversation history so employees can revisit previous discussions and continue ongoing conversations with the AI assistant. ### Department Knowledge Spaces Organize company knowledge into dedicated spaces such as: * Human Resources * Operations * Engineering * Design * Customer Support * Sales * Marketing The AI should intelligently search the most relevant department while allowing organization-wide search when appropriate. ### Analytics & Reporting Provide an admin analytics dashboard with insights including: * Frequently asked questions * Knowledge gaps * Most-viewed documents * Onboarding completion rates * AI adoption and usage metrics * Department-level engagement ### Notifications Implement notifications for events such as: * New documentation * Updated policies * Assigned onboarding tasks * Required training * Knowledge base updates ### Integrations The architecture should support integrations with common workplace tools, including: * Google Drive * Microsoft SharePoint * Notion * Confluence * Slack * Microsoft Teams * Google Workspace * Microsoft 365 * Airtable * monday.com * Jira * Linear * GitHub * n8n * Make.com * Zapier ## Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has experience building AI-powered SaaS applications and enterprise knowledge management solutions.
