Description
Summary I am looking for an experienced AI automation developer to build a reliable job-search and application agent. The system should help identify relevant job opportunities, evaluate whether they match my professional profile, prepare personalized application documents, assist with completing applications, and maintain an organized record of every application. The agent must prioritize application quality over volume. It should not submit generic applications or apply indiscriminately. Main Responsibilities 1. Job Search and Opportunity Identification The agent should be able to search for suitable positions across selected job boards and company career websites. It should: Search using predefined job titles, locations, industries, seniority levels, salary expectations, and other criteria. Identify positions that match my experience and career objectives. Exclude duplicate, expired, irrelevant, or previously reviewed vacancies. Extract important information such as company name, position title, location, salary, job description, application link, and closing date. Rank opportunities according to their relevance to my professional profile. 2. Job-Match Analysis Before preparing an application, the agent should compare the job description with my resume and professional background. The system should: Calculate or provide a job-match score. Identify the main requirements I meet. Highlight possible gaps or missing qualifications. Flag positions that require work authorization, languages, certifications, or experience that I do not have. Avoid submitting applications that do not meet the agreed minimum criteria. 3. Personalized Cover Letter Creation For every approved position, the agent should generate a personalized cover letter. Each letter should: Be based on the actual job description. Mention the company and position correctly. Highlight the most relevant parts of my professional experience. Avoid generic or repetitive language. Maintain a professional and natural tone. Avoid inventing experience, achievements, qualifications, or technical skills. Be editable before submission when required. 4. Resume Customization The agent should use my master resume and create an adapted version for each position when necessary. The customized resume should: Emphasize the experience most relevant to the vacancy. Reorder or adjust skills and achievements according to the job requirements. Incorporate relevant keywords for Applicant Tracking Systems. Preserve the truth and accuracy of my professional background. Never create false employment history, responsibilities, qualifications, or achievements. Maintain a professional and consistent format. Save the customized version with a clear filename linked to the application. Ideally, the system should maintain one master resume and generate tailored copies without modifying the original document. 5. Application Assistance and Submission The agent should assist with applications on supported websites. Depending on the platform, it should be able to: Complete standard application fields. Upload the appropriate resume and cover letter. Answer routine questions using a previously approved information database. Save incomplete applications for review. Request human approval before answering sensitive, subjective, legal, salary-related, work-authorization, or relocation questions. Confirm that the correct documents and information are being submitted. I am open to either a fully automated workflow or a human-in-the-loop system, depending on the limitations and terms of each job platform. 6. CAPTCHA and Security Handling The agent must not attempt to bypass, defeat, or automatically solve security protections in violation of a website’s terms. When a CAPTCHA, identity verification request, multifactor authentication step, or unusual security check appears, the system should: Detect the interruption. Pause the application. Notify me that manual action is required. Allow me to complete the verification. Resume the workflow after the verification has been completed. The developer should also implement reasonable delays, submission limits, and human-like workflow controls to reduce errors and avoid triggering anti-bot systems. 7. Google Sheets Application Tracker Every identified or submitted application should be recorded automatically in Google Sheets. The tracker should include: Date found Date applied Company Position title Location Salary, when available Job-board or company source Job-posting URL Job-match score Application status Resume version used Cover-letter version used Contact person or recruiter Contact email, when available Follow-up date Notes Rejection, interview, offer, or other outcome The system should detect duplicate vacancies and prevent the same position from being submitted more than once. 8. Notifications and Approval Workflow The agent should notify me when: A highly relevant opportunity is found. An application is ready for approval. A CAPTCHA or manual verification is required. A question cannot be answered safely or accurately. An application has been submitted successfully. An application fails or remains incomplete. A follow-up action is due. Notifications may be delivered by email, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, or another recommended system. Preferred Workflow My preferred workflow is: The agent searches for jobs. It scores and filters the opportunities. It prepares a tailored resume and cover letter. It sends the application package to me for approval. After approval, it completes or submits the application. It pauses whenever human verification is required. It records the application in Google Sheets. It schedules a follow-up reminder. For selected trusted job sources, I may later authorize automatic submission without reviewing every individual application. Important Requirements The system must: Prioritize quality and relevance over the number of applications. Protect my personal information and login credentials. Use secure credential storage. Maintain a clear activity log. Avoid duplicate applications. Avoid false or fabricated information. Allow me to define excluded companies, locations, salaries, job titles, and industries. Be easy to update when I change my resume or job-search criteria. Respect the terms and technical restrictions of the websites being used. Include error handling and recovery when a website changes or an application fails.
