Description
Summary I run a b2b website built on Laravel. As part of an SEO cleanup, I need to remove ~1,790 low-value blog URLs the correct way and tidy up a few technical items. I already have the full list of URLs and the plan prepared in a spreadsheet — you'd be executing a clearly defined task, not making SEO decisions. Scope of work: - Return a proper 410 (Gone) status for a provided list of ~1,790 blog URLs (I'll supply the exact list as a CSV). - Set up a small, maintainable way to add more removed/redirected URLs later (e.g. a simple database table for gone URLs and 301 redirects). - Add 301 redirects for a smaller separate list I'll provide later. - Regenerate the XML sitemap so it only contains live URLs, and resubmit is fine on my end. - Crawl the site and fix internal links that point to the removed pages. - Add a simple friendly "page removed" (410) template that links back to main categories. Requirements: - Solid Laravel experience (routing/middleware, migrations). - Comfortable working on a staging environment first, then pushing live. - Please confirm you'll take a full backup before making changes. What I'll provide: - The CSV of URLs to remove and step-by-step written instructions. - Staging/hosting access. This is a small, well-scoped job (a few hours). Please share a quick note on how you'd approach the 410 handling and roughly how long it'll take. Fixed price preferred.
