Summary Website Builder (Not a Developer) — AI-Assisted Site & Landing Page Production We're hiring a builder. This is a role that is the current standard in AI development and the distinction matters, so read carefully. You will not be writing code — Claude Code (or other platforms of choice) writes the code. You will not be designing — AI generates the designs which we tweak. Your job is to run the tools: take the design and the brief, drive Claude Code to produce the build, get it deployed to the designated site, and confirm it works. You are the operator and coordinator of an AI production line, not the craftsman. If your instinct on reading that is to tell us about your ten years of React experience or your Dribbble portfolio, this isn't your role. What we're actually paying for is high volume, efficient throughput. You'll be running many projects at once — websites, landing pages, assets — and the constraint on all of them is you, not the AI. So we care about how fluently you prompt, how fast you iterate, how well you catch the things AI gets subtly wrong, and how few rounds it takes you to get from brief to live and working. Someone who is genuinely efficient with these tools will produce more in a week than a traditional dev shop does in a month. That's the bar. You should already be comfortable with Claude Code, deployment (Vercel/Netlify/hosting handoffs), basic QA, and enough technical literacy to debug when a build breaks — not by rewriting it yourself, but by knowing what to feed back into the tool.
