Senior WordPress Automation Developer – OpenAI Codex Setup for 20 Websites We manage approximately 20 WordPress websites and are looking for an experienced WordPress automation developer to design and implement a secure, repeatable system that allows OpenAI Codex to audit, update, repair, maintain, and help create websites. This is not simply a manual WordPress editing position. We need someone who can prepare the technical infrastructure that will enable Codex to work safely across multiple websites using Git, SSH/SFTP, WP-CLI, the WordPress REST API, staging environments, automated testing, and controlled deployment workflows. ## Project objectives The selected developer will: * Install and configure OpenAI Codex CLI in a secure administrative environment. * Create a centralized system for managing approximately 20 WordPress websites. * Prepare a separate staging environment and complete backup for every website. * Configure restricted SSH/SFTP and WP-CLI access for each website. * Place custom themes, child themes, plugins, and other relevant code under Git version control. * Create clear instructions for Codex for each website, including site structure, design rules, testing procedures, and deployment requirements. * Establish secure credential management without storing passwords or API keys in repositories or Codex prompts. * Create automated or semi-automated workflows for website maintenance. * Create a reusable starter setup for developing and launching additional Wo
