Summary We are building a real-time AI interview assistant that listens to live conversations, understands participants and context, detects when a response is required, and displays an appropriate answer with minimal delay. The first release will be a simple Windows and macOS desktop application. Later, the product will expand into a web application and browser extension. We want to release a testable product as quickly as possible while keeping the architecture extendable and performance-focused. Requirements • Strong software architecture and system-design ability. • Ability to select appropriate technologies, APIs, libraries, and third-party services. • Experience designing real-time, event-driven, or latency-sensitive applications. • Ability to balance rapid MVP delivery with long-term maintainability. • Ability to design shared backend functionality that can later support desktop, web, and browser-extension clients. • Ability to identify what should be built internally and what should use existing services. • Strong ownership, communication, and technical decision-making skills. Application Requirement Please include a brief architecture proposal covering: • Your recommended technology stack. • The main system components. • The real-time flow from conversation audio to the displayed answer. • How you would minimize response latency. • How you would deliver the first usable release quickly. • How the design would later support web and browser-extension versions. • Which features you would exclude from the first release. Applications without a brief architecture proposal will not be considered.
