Summary We are seeking an experienced Laravel developer based in the Philippines for a fixed price, milestone based build of two connected sites: An API site serving structured records over REST (Laravel 11+, PostgreSQL) A customer portal site (Livewire) where users sign in to view and manage those records You will build both against a documented spec and a defined data schema, which we provide along with a staging environment. The API is the system of record; the portal is the front end on top of it. All development and testing uses synthetic seed data. What you will do: Design and build REST endpoints with a consistent request/response contract, validation, authentication, authorization, structured error handling, and versioned documentation Model and migrate the data in PostgreSQL with clean migrations, seeders, and efficient queries Build the Livewire portal: sign in, roles and permissions, listing, search, filtering, and record management screens with responsive, accessible UI Write maintainable code with automated tests for critical paths, clean commits, and clear pull requests Diagnose and fix issues surfaced in staging, with useful logging Requirements: 3+ years professional Laravel/PHP, confident with Laravel 11 or above Solid PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, efficient queries Proven REST API design and build experience (routing, validation, auth, status codes, versioned contracts) Livewire experience for interactive server driven UI Strong written and spoken English, responsive communication Able to work autonomously against a spec and flag blockers early Daily overlap with Sydney business hours (AEST/AEDT) Milestones: schema and migrations, API endpoints, portal build, integration and automated testing, staging bug fixes, final handover with README and documentation. Deliverables and payment releases agreed up front.
