Description
Summary We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented GHL and Automation Specialist to build, audit, and scale our client-facing and internal backend systems. This role is not about general digital marketing; it is about technical execution. You will be responsible for structuring clean workflows, connecting APIs, handling webhooks, and ensuring data moves accurately between GoHighLevel and external platforms. Key Responsibilities : Workflow Architecture: Design and build multi-step workflows in GHL (custom triggers, wait steps, conditional logic, and custom values) without creating execution loops.API & Webhook Integrations: Connect GHL with external databases, CRMs, and custom applications using webhooks, REST APIs, and middleware tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier. System Auditing: Troubleshoot broken triggers, optimize slow-loading campaigns, and clean up redundant custom fields or tags in existing sub-accounts.Lead Pipeline Management: Structure clean sales pipelines, opportunity stages, and lead routing logic so sales teams have accurate data in real-time. Custom Customizations: Configure SMS/Email automation (including A2P 10DL compliance setup), phone systems, and calendar routing. Testing & QA: Thoroughly test every automation path and edge case before pushing configurations live to production sub-accounts.Technical RequirementsProven GHL Expertise: Minimum 2 years of daily, hands-on experience setting up complex GHL sub-accounts, custom values, and snapshots. Integration Skills: Strong understanding of JSON payloads, REST API endpoints, webhooks, and how to debug integration errors. Middleware Tools: Hands-on experience with Make (Integromat), Zapier, or n8n to handle logic that GHL's native workflows cannot resolve.Data Management: Ability to organize custom fields, tags, and contact databases systematically to prevent data duplication.Problem-Solving: A systematic approach to debugging workflow blocks and API timeout errors. What We ValueClear Communication: Explaining a technical problem simply and documenting your workflow setups (SOPs).Reliability: Making sure a workflow is tested and stable before declaring it complete.Directness: Speaking directly to the technical challenge at hand rather than overcomplicating simple solutions. How to Apply Please share 2-3 specific examples of complex automations you have built (such as custom API connections, multi-step GHL snapshots, or n8n/Make pipelines). Briefly explain the problem you were solving and how you structured the workflow.
