Description

Summary We are looking for an experienced developer to help build a secure Chrome browser companion tool for a professional services workflow. The extension will connect to an internal client portal, receive approved client intake data, detect approved pages inside a third-party web application, and assist with draft-filling visible form fields for human review. This is not a scraping, credential-sharing, or security-bypass project. The extension must work inside the user’s approved browser session and respect all third-party login, MFA, security, and compliance boundaries. Required experience: - Chrome Extension Manifest V3 - TypeScript / JavaScript - Content scripts - Background service workers - Browser DOM automation - Secure API integrations - Authenticated web app workflows - Supabase - Postgres - Sensitive-data handling Strongly preferred experience: - AI agentic workflow systems - OpenAI / Codex-assisted development - AI agents connected to business workflows - Playwright or similar browser testing - Multi-tenant SaaS permissions - Audit logging - Compliance-sensitive workflows MVP scope: - Build a working Chrome Extension - Connect extension to our internal portal/API - Detect approved third-party pages - Map selected intake fields to visible form fields - Draft-fill fields only after user approval - Track filled/skipped/review-needed fields - Send safe status updates back to the portal - Prevent final submission/signing/completion actions Security requirements: - No credential storage - No MFA storage - No bypassing security protections - No sensitive client data stored in local browser storage - Human approval required before any action - Only run on approved domains - Safe audit/status logging only Deliverables: - Working Manifest V3 extension - Clean source code - Local install instructions - Field mapping documentation - QA/test plan - Security notes - Recommendations for future scaling We are looking for someone who can move quickly, communicate clearly, and build with security, reliability, and compliance in mind.
