Description
We are looking for a senior AI software engineer to take over and complete an existing real-time AI project. The system is designed to work as a live cohost during online broadcasts. It listens to the host, watches the video feed, identifies collectible cards, checks recent market prices, monitors chat, and responds through an AI-generated voice. The project has already been started, but it needs an experienced engineer to review the current code, fix incomplete or unreliable parts, improve performance, and bring the system to production. Main responsibilities: - Review the existing codebase and current architecture - Identify what is complete, what needs improvement, and what needs to be rebuilt - Complete the real-time audio and video processing pipeline - Improve speech recognition, response timing, and voice output - Build natural turn-taking so the AI does not interrupt the host - Improve card identification using computer vision - Connect and manage market-price data sources - Add chat monitoring, moderation, and engagement features - Build short-term and long-term memory for conversations - Improve system speed, reliability, logging, and error handling - Add testing, deployment, monitoring, and technical documentation - Support live testing and final production deployment Required experience: - Strong Python development skills - FastAPI or similar backend framework - Real-time audio, video, or streaming systems - Speech-to-text and text-to-speech services - WebSockets
