Summary We run SellerSoar, a high-growth Amazon EU expansion agency. We are building an AI-native operating system: client dashboards, listing optimisers, data pipelines, and agentic workflows using Codex, Claude MCP, and custom VPS agents. This post is a paid one-week test project. It is a real piece of work we need built, not a hoop. If you ship it well, it converts into an ongoing long-term contract with a monthly retainer. We are not looking for a traditional senior software engineer. We are looking for someone who treats AI as their primary development environment and ships in days, not sprints. The test project Rebuild one of our existing manual processes as an AI-driven workflow. We will assign the specific process on day one, scoped to be completable in a week by someone who works the way we do. Deliverables: - Working prototype, deployed and running - Clean, commented code in a GitHub repo - Loom video walkthrough explaining what you built and why you made the choices you made Budget: $300 to $500 fixed, depending on experience and your bid. We will choose on best fit and best value, not lowest price alone. Timeline: One week from start. What happens if you ship it well You move onto an ongoing contract. The work ahead includes multi-repo projects spanning data pipelines, APIs, and client-facing dashboards, deployment on DigitalOcean and VPS infrastructure, autonomous agent builds, and integration of Amazon SP-API, Keepa, and advertising data pipelines. We have months of pipeline. The first person who ships gets first claim on it. Who we're looking for - An AI-native builder. You use ChatGPT, Codex, or Cursor daily and have shipped real projects with them - At least 12 months of daily AI-assisted development - You have shipped at least 2 side projects using AI. Actual tools and automations, not tutorials - Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, JSON, and basic cloud deployment (DigitalOcean, Railway, or Vercel) - Obsessive about AI tooling and fast iteration. You knew about the latest Codex updates before we did Nice to have - Amazon or e-commerce familiarity (SP-API, Keepa, Helium 10) - MCP server experience - Python or TypeScript, though we accept that Codex writes most of the code now Who we don't hire - Anyone who says "I prefer to write code myself." Too slow, too expensive - Anyone who wants to design the architecture for two weeks before shipping - Anyone whose portfolio is only tutorial projects - Anyone who hasn't touched ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude in the last week - Agencies or teams.
