Summary We're building a tool that turns an ordinary product photo into a professional, studio-quality shot. The user uploads a photo of their product, picks a template (background, scene, and where the product sits), and our AI transforms it into an image that looks like it came out of a real photo shoot. We need someone who can master the AI generation side and build the prompt system behind each template. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Take a user-uploaded product photo and turn it into a photorealistic result that keeps the product accurate while generating a professional background, lighting, and composition - Design a structured, reusable prompt system where each template maps to its own well-engineered prompt - Evaluate and select the best models and pipelines for photorealistic product imagery (image-to-image, inpainting, background replacement, relighting) - Integrate the image generation into our existing platform via API - Tune prompts per template so output stays consistent and high-quality at scale, and optimize for quality, speed, and cost REQUIRED SKILLS - Hands-on experience with modern AI image generation: image-to-image, inpainting/outpainting, background replacement, relighting - Strong, proven prompt engineering for image models with repeatable results - Product/object consistency techniques (IP-Adapter, ControlNet, reference-guided generation, or equivalent) so the real product stays intact - Integrating image generation APIs into a live app (REST, webhooks, async job handling) - Ability to design a clean, reusable prompt/template architecture NICE TO HAVE - A background in product or commercial photography (lighting, composition) so results actually read as a real photo shoot - Experience with custom models, fine-tuning, or LoRAs - Cost and latency optimization for high-volume generation WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Someone who cares about the final look, not just wiring up an API. The output has to be hard to tell apart from a professional studio session. You communicate clearly, can explain trade-offs between models, and are comfortable iterating with us on quality until it's right.
