Summary OVERVIEW We're a boutique investor relations agency serving publicly listed junior mining, pharma, and microcap clients across multiple exchanges. We need a developer to build an internal tool that pulls data from a fixed set of platforms and auto-generates recurring client reports (weekly/monthly) using standardized templates. The data schema is already defined by us and is consistent across all clients. This is not a discovery project, it's an integration and automation build. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD •API integrations for the following platforms: Google Analytics (GA4 Data API) — OAuth-based Google Ads API — OAuth-based; requires a developer token from Google (we will initiate this application before the contract starts so it isn't a bottleneck) Mailchimp API — REST API, OAuth or API key ClickUp API (v2) — API token or OAuth EODHD (EOD Historical Data) API — multi-exchange market data covering CSE, TSX-V, LSE, OTCQB, ASX, and FSE (final confirmation of small-cap ticker coverage on CSE/TSX-V pending, details to be provided at project start) • A pipeline that pulls data from these sources on a schedule, maps it into our standard report schema, and stores it in Postgres (a small managed instance, e.g. Supabase or Railway, is fine, your recommendation welcome) • A report generator that produces two output formats: • A weekly PDF/Word report (data-driven metrics, tables, and charts, matching our existing weekly template) • A monthly PowerPoint deck matching our existing branded template, with data-driven slides auto-populated (KPI tiles, charts, tables); narrative, strategy, and user-journey slides are out of scope and will be added manually by our team • An interactive dashboard using Metabase (open-source BI tool), connected to our Postgres database, so our team can view live data, filter by client and date range, and drill into individual metrics without a custom-built frontend • Basic scheduling/automation so reports generate on a recurring cadence without manual pulls • Simple error handling/logging so we know when an API call fails or data is missing IDEAL BACKGROUND Strong experience with REST API integrations, especially OAuth-based services (GA4, Google Ads, Mailchimp, and ClickUp all require OAuth) Python (pandas, matplotlib/plotly, python-docx or docxtpl, WeasyPrint or ReportLab, python-pptx) or Node.js equivalent stack Experience generating documents programmatically (Word/PDF and PowerPoint) with embedded charts, not just dashboards Experience matching an existing branded template/design system precisely (fonts, colors, layout) when generating documents or slides programmatically Experience with Postgres and setting up Metabase (or willingness to learn it quickly; it's a well-documented open-source BI tool) Comfortable working from a fixed data schema we provide; this is not a "design the data model" role Nice to have: prior work building internal tools or reporting automation for agencies or marketing teams Nice to have: familiarity with financial/market data APIs DELIVERABLES Working, documented pipeline connecting all five data sources Weekly report template matching our existing format, exportable as PDF Monthly PowerPoint deck template with data-driven slides (KPIs, charts, tables) matching our existing branded design Metabase dashboard configured against our Postgres database for internal use Brief documentation so our team (non-technical) can trigger and monitor report runs, and navigate the Metabase dashboard Handoff call to walk through the code ENGAGEMENT TYPE Contract, fixed-scope with milestone payments preferred over open-ended hourly. BUDGET $6,500 fixed price (open to adjusting based on proposed approach and experience). Milestone-based payment preferred, structured roughly as: pipeline + integrations working, report generators (weekly + monthly) + Metabase dashboard, testing/docs/handoff. ADDITIONAL NOTES No web scraping is required for this project; all five integrations use official, documented APIs. The Google Ads developer token approval will be initiated by us ahead of the contract start date. Final EODHD small-cap ticker coverage confirmation (CSE/TSX-V) will be shared at kickoff; scope may adjust slightly if a secondary market data provider is needed for edge cases. For the monthly deck, only data-driven slides (KPI tiles, charts, tables) are in scope for automation. Narrative, strategy, and user-journey/path slides are intentionally excluded and will be completed manually by our team.
