The app must launch on both iOS and Android from day one and open straight into a clean flow where a manager can post an open shift, push it live, and then watch the responses roll in. Core experience • Managers create a shift card (date, time, pay, location, notes) and publish it. • Qualified associates receive an instant push notification, tap once to accept or decline, and the first confirmed response locks in the coverage. • Every user has a profile showing basic credentials, past ratings, and preferred boutiques so managers can review at a glance. • A lightweight in-app chat thread opens automatically between manager and confirmed staffer so last-minute details never leave the platform. Key requirements • Native-feeling interface on both platforms (React Native, Flutter or similar cross-platform stack is fine as long as performance remains smooth). • Real-time push notifications that remain reliable even when the app is closed. • Secure authentication (email, phone, or social), plus a simple onboarding flow that captures skills and availability. • Backend that can scale regionally, stores shift data, and prevents double booking. • Basic admin dashboard for me to manage boutiques, users, and reported issues.
