I'm a brand designer looking for a WordPress developer to partner with on client website projects. The website is already live on WordPress using the MH Newsdesk Lite theme. The goal is to implement a new landing page within the existing WordPress installation while maintaining compatibility with the current theme and content. We do not want to delete the rest of the site, just implement the landing page as the new home page for the next few months. This is not a page builder project (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.). I'm looking for someone comfortable working directly with WordPress themes, custom templates, CSS, and PHP when needed. You should be able to: - Convert Figma designs into a responsive WordPress landing page - Build within the existing WordPress theme or create a child theme if appropriate - Develop custom page templates as needed - Write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP - Ensure responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile - Preserve existing site functionality while implementing the new design - Optimize for performance and accessibility This is a quick turn project (1-2 weeks) so please note your availability as well.
