Summary We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to help us build and improve a secure healthcare web application for managing patient intake, provider workflows, and internal clinic operations. Our clinic currently relies on a combination of forms, spreadsheets, emails, scheduling tools, and manual staff processes to manage patient information, appointments, follow-ups, and provider review workflows. This creates operational inefficiency, duplicated work, and potential risks around how patient information is handled across multiple systems. We want to replace these fragmented manual workflows with a secure, scalable, HIPAA-conscious web platform that centralizes patient data, improves staff productivity, and integrates with the tools we already use. The initial project will be a paid test engagement focused on one clear area of the system, such as improving the patient intake flow, building part of the provider dashboard, setting up secure authentication, creating audit logging, or integrating with an existing healthcare or scheduling API. If the paid test project goes well, there is a strong opportunity for long-term work. We are looking for someone who can grow with us as a trusted technical partner and help us continue expanding the platform over time. The ideal developer should have experience with full stack web development, secure backend architecture, API integrations, role-based access control, database design, and healthcare or HIPAA-conscious application development. Responsibilities may include: * Building secure patient-facing and provider-facing web features * Developing backend APIs and database structures for healthcare workflows * Implementing authentication, authorization, and role-based permissions * Creating audit logs to track access and activity * Integrating third-party tools such as scheduling, CRM, billing, messaging, or EHR-related systems * Improving existing workflows to reduce manual staff work * Supporting secure file uploads, patient forms, and internal admin tools * Helping us design the system with scalability, privacy, and security in mind Required experience: * Strong experience with modern full stack development * Experience building SaaS platforms, dashboards, portals, or internal business tools * Solid understanding of secure authentication and data protection practices * Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations * Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code * Healthcare, HIPAA, or sensitive-data application experience is highly preferred We do not expect the initial project to cover the entire platform. We want to start with a focused paid test project so we can evaluate communication, technical quality, problem-solving ability, and long-term fit.
