Description
We are seeking a skilled web developer with deep, hands-on experience in WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce to optimize and expand our internal ecommerce platform. This role begins with a defined set of fixes and a key SaaS integration, then continues into an ongoing maintenance and improvement relationship. The immediate work includes auditing our current plugin and code structure to reduce bloat and improve site speed, resolving unreliable WooCommerce order confirmation and order update emails, and integrating the DesignHuddle product customizer into a custom order and email workflow. Additional priorities include improving mobile layouts, fixing search result consistency, and cleaning up our product database export. The ideal candidate has a strong ecommerce development background, specific and demonstrable WooCommerce expertise, and experience integrating third-party SaaS tools into custom order processes. DesignHuddle experience is a plus. You should be comfortable working in a separate development environment, using version control, and following a stakeholder approval process before anything goes live. This is an ongoing engagement rather than a one-time project. All work is performed in a development environment separate from the live site, and progress is tracked through regular check-ins.
