Description
I need a WordPress developer to finish my website, VenueAustin.com. It's a directory of the names, contact information, and other details of music venues in Austin, Texas The site has been about 95% done for about 5 years. The site uses the WPResident theme. It has both Visual Composer and Elementor installed along with standard HTML, CSS, and PHP. -- AdRotate too. Scope of Work & Milestones Pay is hourly divided into three parts, and is negotiable based on your skills and experience. My maximum is $35 per hour although a lower price will be more likely to get you the job all things being equal; a higher price will make it difficult for me to afford. Part 1 (40% of budget) Cleanup & Updates. • Perform PHP and theme updates. Be careful: This is where I've screwed up the site myself! • Clean up the back-end by deleting unused or conflicting plugins. Part 2 (40% of budget) Map & Image Fixes • Fix the drop-down Google Map so it correctly zooms into Austin and displays venues clearly instead of showing the entire, U.S. map. Can it be de-cluttered? • Re-link missing venue images from the existing database to the front end. Part 3 (25% of budget) Custom Data Entry Page • Make the partially completed hidden front-end data page fully operational so venue info and updates can be added or deleted by data entry personnel They'll need to be a back door to prevent entering the WordPress dashboard and screw things up. Requirements • "Intermediate" experience level required: closer to beginn
