Summary Senior AI Engineer – LLM Systems, Agents & Production AI We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help design, build, and ship production-grade AI systems. This is not a simple chatbot or prompt engineering project. We’re looking for someone who has experience taking AI products from prototype to production and can make strong technical decisions independently. What you’ll work on: Design and build LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows Build reliable backend services and APIs for AI features Implement RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, evaluation, and memory/context systems Design data pipelines for ingestion, processing, embeddings, and retrieval Improve model accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency Build evaluation pipelines and monitoring for AI system quality Integrate third-party models and infrastructure, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and open-source models Work closely with the founding team to turn ambiguous product requirements into working systems What we’re looking for: 5+ years of software engineering or ML engineering experience Strong Python and backend engineering skills Hands-on experience shipping LLM applications to production Experience with RAG, vector databases, agents, or LLM evaluation Strong understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, Docker, and production deployments Ability to independently debug complex problems across the AI and backend stack Strong communication and documentation skills Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector databases, model fine-tuning, multimodal AI, or distributed data pipelines is a plus.
