Summary We are seeking a skilled freelancer to recreate our website with a backend interface. The project involves creating a new website with account creation and login functionalities. The ideal candidate will have experience in web development and backend technologies. Super easy task from an experienced developer. Website and page templates set up and we can provide webpage and clone of it. Task: User Auth + Payment System — End-to-End Functional Build Connect the existing sign-up/login frontend to the database and Stripe so the full flow is live and testable. Deliverable: A user (we) can create an account, verify their email, save a payment method via Stripe, and receive the correct transactional email at each step. Scope: Sign-up — Form submits → creates user record in DB (email, hashed password or OAuth provider, email_verified: false, plan: free, created_at) Email verification — On sign-up, send a verification email with a magic link (15-minute expiry). On click: mark email_verified: true in DB. Login — Wire existing frontend to auth backend. . Stripe setup — On email verified: create a Stripe customer and store stripe_customer_id on the user record. During onboarding step 4, use Stripe Elements to capture card details and billing address. Save the payment method to the Stripe customer. Do not charge anything at this stage — card on file only. Build a /webhook endpoint to handle Stripe events (minimum: payment_method.attached). Transactional emails (two triggers): Sign-up → "Verify your email address" (magic link) Email verified → "Your account is set up" (confirmation + next steps) . Not in scope for this task: metered billing, usage charges, API key generation, team invites. Success criteria: User can complete the full flow end-to-end — account created, email verified, card saved in Stripe, both confirmation emails received, stripe_customer_id visible on my user record in the DB.
