Summary We're a small, early-stage consultancy that builds AI-powered bots and knowledge systems for businesses and nonprofits. We're hiring 1 to 3 junior engineers for a paid 1 to 3 month trial, with the goal of bringing the best fit on for ongoing work. What you'll do You'll take high-level project ideas and own them end to end: research the approach, scope it, build it with AI-assisted development, and iterate based on feedback. Typical work involves building bots and agents that connect to tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Airtable, and Canva, using integration platforms (Composio, Zapier, MCP servers) and Python. You'll build within our existing bot framework, so getting up to speed quickly in an unfamiliar codebase is part of the job. Our founder reviews your work and handles the final polish; your job is getting builds 90% of the way there, fast. What we're looking for - Solid technical foundation (Python, APIs, webhooks) and comfort building with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT as part of your workflow - Strong written English and proactive communication. Our working rhythm is simple: make a plan, share it, post a short update when you log on and log off each day - Self-directed. You can take an ambiguous idea, ask smart questions, and ship something working without hand-holding - Bonus: experience with Composio, MCP, Notion or Airtable builds, or agent frameworks Details Remote. We prefer time zones with good overlap to US hours (Latin America works well; but open to anyone willing to work Pacific timezone hours). Rate depends on experience. Your first assignment is a small fixed-fee test project (about 10 to 15 hours) so we can see how you think and build.
