Description
We need an experienced WordPress and Elementor accessibility specialist to audit, remediate, retest, and document accessibility improvements for two healthcare-related websites. Both websites are built in WordPress using Elementor. Site URLs, WordPress access, staging access, and any necessary credentials will be provided through Upwork after a contract is started. All communication, files, access sharing, and payment will remain on Upwork. This project requires real accessibility remediation, not only an accessibility overlay, widget, plugin, or automated report. We are looking for someone who can identify issues, fix them directly in WordPress and Elementor where possible, retest the corrected pages, and provide written documentation of the work completed. The goal is to improve both websites toward WCAG 2.1 AA and WCAG 2.2 AA best practices. The contractor should understand accessibility from both a technical and user-experience perspective, including screen reader users, keyboard-only users, low-vision users, mobile users, and users who rely on clear page structure and predictable navigation. The work should include review and remediation of the following areas: 1. Images and non-text content: Review missing alt text, poor alt text, decorative images, linked images, icon-only buttons, service icons, logo images, image boxes, background images that communicate meaning, and any visual content that needs a text equivalent. 2. Page titles and page purpose: Review every import
