Description
Goal: Be the #1 answer when anyone asks an AI about van conversions in San Diego / Southern California Current Problems: Our site is throwing 403 errors at bots on key pages. Our homepage fetched fine, but /blog/ and even our sitemap returned 403 Forbidden to automated fetchers. I believe if our WAF/security layer (likely Cloudflare or your host) is challenge-blocking AI retrieval bots, ChatGPT and Perplexity likely cannot read most of our site. Our business identity is inconsistent across the web. We need to clean this up and provide clear information. No pricing anywhere. Our site actively dodges cost ("people often think the cost is outrageous, but..."). I believe AI needs concrete numbers to say something specific about our company and does not hide us from searches. Sloppy site details. Our homepage displays "0 + Years of Experience" graphic meter—because it starts with 0 and goes up to 60+ years of experience, I believe AI is likely taking it as 0. No visible testimonials on the homepage. Marketing-fluff copy instead of direct answers. Unverified/likely-missing structured data. No confirmation of LocalBusiness, FAQPage, or Review schema — so we are likely not providing AI with the machine-readable layer that tells who we are, where we are, and what we charge. Action Items: Unblock AI crawlers at the firewall In our host/CDN (Cloudflare/WP security plugin), we need to explicitly allow user agents: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-User, PerplexityBot
