Summary Rustic Marlin is a manufacturer of personalized home decor products. We are seeking an experienced Automation Software Expert to design and build a proprietary manufacturing automation platform that will power the future of our personalized products business. We have a great solution for customers ordering on our own website but all sales done on marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy, or Faire the personalization comes over as a text box that currently needs to be entered manually. We are looking for someone who can help take this text and map it through an automation process that is easily repeatable. We have already mapped our workflows and defined the vision. We are looking for someone who can take those process maps and transform them into a scalable, reliable software solution that automates personalization from multiple sales channels—including Shopify, Amazon, Faire, Etsy, and other marketplaces—through production and fulfillment. The ideal candidate has experience building API-driven applications, workflow automation, cloud-based software, databases, and system integrations. Experience with manufacturing software, print-on-demand workflows, Adobe Illustrator scripting, AI, robotic process automation, computer vision, ERP/MRP systems, or production automation is highly desirable. Most importantly, you are a systems thinker who enjoys solving complex operational challenges and building software that eliminates manual work, improves accuracy, and scales with a growing business. We are looking for someone who is excited to own this project from development through implementation.
