Summary n8n Developer – PayPal Subscription Paywall for WhatsApp AI Agent I have an existing WhatsApp AI agent workflow built in n8n. I need an experienced n8n freelancer to build a PayPal subscription paywall in front of it, so that only active paying subscribers can use the agent. Subscriber records will be stored and managed in Google Sheets. The Flow 1. User sends a WhatsApp message 2. n8n checks their WhatsApp number against a Google Sheet of active subscribers 3. If not subscribed → bot replies with a message explaining they need to subscribe, and sends them a PayPal subscription link 4. Once they subscribe → PayPal webhook fires → their WhatsApp number is written to the Google Sheet as an active subscriber 5. Future messages → number is verified as active → AI agent responds as normal 6. If subscription lapses or is cancelled → PayPal webhook updates their status → access is revoked automatically What I Need • PayPal subscription plan integrated via PayPal webhooks into n8n • Subscriber verification logic inside the existing n8n workflow • Google Sheet structure to store: WhatsApp number, subscription status, PayPal subscriber ID, start date, expiry/cancellation date • Graceful messaging for unsubscribed and lapsed users • Clean handoff documentation so I can manage it going forward Tech Stack • n8n (cloud) • WhatsApp Business API (already connected) • PayPal REST API / Webhooks • Google Sheets Ideal Candidate • Strong n8n experience with real workflow examples • Prior experience with PayPal subscriptions/webhooks • Comfortable working with WhatsApp Business API flows • Clear communicator — this is a live product Please share examples of relevant n8n work when applying.
