Description

We are a fast-growing, full-service digital agency. Right now, we are scaling up our engineering capacity and looking for an experienced freelance WordPress Developer to support our build delivery team on upcoming sprint cycles. This is an initial contract with the potential for ongoing, consistent milestone-based work across our client portfolio. What You’ll Be Doing No bloated page builders here. We focus on technical excellence and elegant backend administration spaces. Your main focus will be: - Custom ACF Layouts: Architecting and coding clean, high-fidelity components using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro / Flexible Content / Blocks). - Form-Based CMS Frameworks: Building logical, highly intuitive backend layouts. We want our client's content editors to have a seamless experience where fields map perfectly to frontend components. - Component-Based Builds: Writing clean, modular, and performance-optimised templates from design mockups. - Collaborative Delivery: Partnering with our technical leads and project managers to ensure code meets our technical standards, accessibility baselines, and sprint deadlines. What We’re Looking For We need a proactive, agency-experienced developer who can hit the ground running. You should bring: - Advanced WordPress Expertise: Deep experience building custom themes and structured, modular codebases. - ACF Mastery: You know how to configure complex field groups, repeatable structures, and flexible layouts cleanly. - An "Editor-First" Mind
