We have an existing Python backend and need a skilled AI Engineer to integrate the OpenAI API cleanly and efficiently. This is a focused task, but we need someone who has done real integrations before, not just tutorial projects. We want production-ready code, clean documentation, and zero back and forth. What We Need: Connect OpenAI API (GPT-4o) to our existing Python backend Set up structured prompt templates and handle API responses correctly Implement error handling, retry logic, and token usage management Deliver clean, commented, and deployment-ready code You Are the Right Fit If: You have hands-on experience with OpenAI API and Python You are familiar with FastAPI or Flask for backend integration You can deliver quickly and communicate clearly throughout You have past work or GitHub samples to share This is a small but important task.
