Description
Summary What You Will Be Building • Full GoHighLevel (GHL) account builds: pipelines, calendars, forms, workflows, snapshots, custom values, and sub-accounts • Automations that connect apps together using Make.com and n8n • Stripe payment setup: checkout, subscriptions, one-time payments, and syncing payment data back into the CRM • QuickBooks integration so invoices, payments, and customer records stay in sync without manual entry • Connecting other tools in our stack when a project needs it (Twilio for calls and texts, Supabase for databases, webhooks between custom sites and the CRM) • Fixing and improving systems that other people built badly Must-Have Skills These are non-negotiable. If a candidate is weak in any of these, they are not the right fit. GoHighLevel (expert level). They should be able to build a full client system from a blank sub-account without hand-holding. This includes workflows with branching logic, custom fields and values, calendar routing, snapshots for reuse across clients, and API or webhook connections in and out of GHL. Make.com (advanced). This is a visual tool that connects apps and moves data between them. A strong candidate can build multi-step scenarios, handle errors, use routers and filters, parse data, and work with APIs directly inside Make. Ask them to describe a complex scenario they built. n8n (advanced). Similar to Make but more technical and often self-hosted. Good candidates use n8n when a workflow is too complex or too expensive to run in Make. They should be comfortable with custom code steps and self-hosting. Stripe integration. They need to connect Stripe to CRMs and websites, not just paste a payment link. Look for experience with subscriptions, webhooks (the messages Stripe sends when a payment happens), and syncing that data into GHL or a database. QuickBooks integration. They should have actually connected QuickBooks to other systems before, so invoices and payments sync automatically. This is a common weak spot, so screen for it carefully. APIs and webhooks (general understanding). Most of the above depends on these. They do not need to be a full software engineer, but they must understand how apps talk to each other and be able to read basic API documentation. How to Apply Please send: 1. A short note on your experience with GHL, Make, n8n, Stripe, and QuickBooks specifically 2. Two or three examples of systems you built, ideally with a quick screen recording or screenshots of the actual workflows 3. Your rate and availability 4. Answers to the screening questions below
