Description
We are seeking an experienced MySQL expert to manage, optimize, and maintain large-scale SQL server environments. Responsibilities: Optimize MySQL performance for large databases Analyze and resolve slow queries and bottlenecks Manage replication, high availability, and failover Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues Implement backup and disaster recovery processes Perform server tuning and capacity planning Investigate recurring outages and identify root causes Work on security hardening and DDoS mitigation strategies Collaborate with infrastructure teams on scaling and reliability Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on MySQL administration experience Strong experience with Linux servers Deep understanding of query optimization and indexing Experience with Percona tools and monitoring solutions Knowledge of networking, security, and DDoS protection Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred) Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Preferred: Experience with large databases (TB-scale) High availability and clustering experience Automation/scripting using Bash, Python, or similar
